NYC-based Singer/songwriter Brian Halloran has been performing for over two decades. His thoughtful & melodic songs are evocative of Elvis Costello, Neil Finn & Michael Penn and showcase Brian's quick wit, earnest emotion and dedication to finely crafted pop songs. Before coming to New York in the late 90's, he was a founding member of the Chicago-based band, Citrus. Between 2007-09, Brian toured with Irish-rock band, Ceann. In the last few years, Brian has toured prolifically, making regular stops in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania & Virgina. Brian has completed three albums; two solo albums, 2003's Jasper and 2012's News from the Queen Victoria. The third album, The Legend of Handsome Pat, is a tribute album to his younger brother Patrick, the lead singer of Ceann who died in a car accident in Vermont on Feb 1st, 2011. The album features a dozen diverse artists and bands performing songs Patrick wrote that were never released in his lifetime. It was released in May 2013. Between January 2014 and May 2015, Brian undertook an ambitious project, writing and recording a song a week, totaling 76 songs in all. He's currently fine-tuning the best of these songs for his next album.
