Tim Cadiere’s soulful original songs are known for their cajun-country overtones with a dash of creole spunk. His set lists are often a combination of Pop, Country, Rock and Blues which allow him and his band, The Washboard Road Band, to bring an energy-filled rockin’ good time to any stage or venue. Born into a musical family in the bayou town of Houma, Louisiana, Tim developed a love for music at a very early age. At just 8 years old, he began playing the guitar, drums, piano and more. “Some of my fondest memories are of momma and my sisters singing while daddy, my brother and me played music barefoot on the front yard,” recalls Tim. “When I sing and play, I want people to feel something. I think that’s what makes ‘Proud’ such an amazing song. People can relate, they can remember and plug in their own story that takes them back to place and a time when they felt small town proud.”
“Proud,” also the name of his most recent CD release, it is a reflection of the kind of pride that comes from a rural town like Lake Oconee, Georgia and its surrounding areas. It’s a patriotic ballad dedicated to Army Spc. Erica Alecksen of Eatonton, GA who gave her life for our country. The album also features other originals including "Soak It Up" and "If That Boat Could Talk.” “Proud” and many of the other songs from the album are currently being played on Internet radio stations across the world as well as on radio stations in France, Belgium, Texas, Tennessee, Nebraska, Queensland, and even Australia. The single "Hop In My Truck" made a great showing in the New Music Weekly Charts. "Hop In My Truck" along with several other songs also got a great applause at a recent industry Showcase at CMA Week in Nashville. "The Love We're In" is set to release to radio SUMMER 2014 globally. Tim Cadiere and The Washboard Road Band are scheduled to perform throughout the southeast from Georgia to the Carolinas, to Tennessee, Louisiana and beyond. A live performance album is set to record by the end of June 2014.
In 2009 Tim Cadiere’s radio hit, “Thinking Outside The Box“, had a massive amount of radio play. As a result, Tim and the band went on a radio tour through much of the continental United States. “It’s a l ittle ironic to me that this song helped open so many doors,” says Tim. Tim has gone on to share the stage with country music icons such as Eric Church, Easton Corbin, Jake Owen, Randy Houser, Colt Ford, and even David Allen Coe. He is the recipients of the 2012/ 2013 People’s Choice Best of Lake Oconee Award , hosted by Lake Oconee Living Magazine and is currently a finalist in the 2014 Georgia Battle of the Bands in Macon, Georgia.
Tim’s passionate about people. “I can’t help it. I love people. To me, there is nothing better than looking out at a crowd and seeing them having a good time. I want them to smile… If my music can help left their spirits, then it’s a good day,” says Tim. He believes in giving back to the community that supports him and has given himself and the band an opportunity to grow as people and musicians. Tim and The Washboard Road Band play at numerous charity events on the national and local level. Last year, they played at a concert supporting The American Red Cross where they performed with American IDOL winner, Scotty McCreery. Other organizations who have worked with Tim are Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, Putnam County Elementary Garden Club, Second Harvest Food Bank and many more.
Tim believes his God given talent to sing, play and write music was given to him to make a difference in the lives of others. When he’s not on the road, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and kids at Lake Oconee, where he calls home. He also enjoys playing praise and worship music at his church whenever possible.
