GROOVE FOUNDRY.....yes, you know it! After years of performing around the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area, GROOVE FOUNDRY is playing private parties, weddings, bars/clubs, restaurants and many festivals such as the Squaw Valley Art & Wine Festival, the famed Far West/Disabled Sports Benefit Bash, Lake Tahoe's Snow Fest, Concerts on Commons Beach and the Truckee Ampitheater.
GROOVE FOUNDRY features the lead-trio team of powerhouse tenor saxman Mather, the unique low-brass sizzle of Nak on trombone, and sexy trumpet stylings of Jen Campbell (listen to "World's on a Leash"). Rounding out leads and providing greazzzy rhythm licks is the experienced blues-funk guitarist, Barry Slayton (heard on such tunes as "Low Rider"). Brian Silverman's keyboard and organ sounds soar above, below and throughout every old favorite (Santana's "Oye Como Va") and newest funk-jazz hit (The Motet's "Afro Tech"). The rhythm section of freshie-fresh Sam Ravenna on his booming bass guitar (heard on Karl Denson's "Elephants"), and well-respected drum-phenom, Bill Heise add the deep percussive grooves (listen to Nicola Conte's "Jet Sounds"). Lastly, but firstly, Glenn Campbell brings his gritty and authentic gospel-rooted voice sweeping across the stage and bringing audiences all to their feet. Amen!
All GROOVE FOUNDRY musicians have played with or for national and internationally-recognized artists and provide each of our clients with the highest level of professionalism whether a local bar, outdoor concert, restaurant, wedding or wine festival.
