Patrick Leaver (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano) started playing piano when he was ten years old, and playing guitar since he was fourteen years old. Inspired by the likes of Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, and Slash, Patrick proves to be a blend of all three in his music, combining powerful singing with raw emotion and grungy hard rock guitar tones as well as meaningful, thought-provoking lyrics. Patrick's incredible vocal range and strength makes him one of the best singers alive today.
Brian Kibler (lead guitar, backing vocals), started playing guitar at an early age as an escape from his troubled high school days. Having lost his left index finger at birth, Brian was determined to prove that he couldn't be kept down. As the years went by, Brian's skill improved more and more, studying famed guitarists such as Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Steven Wilson, and Jonny Greenwood; altogether, proving now, more than ever, that he is worthy of the title of "guitar hero".
Chris Boschi (bass, backing vocals), originally a guitarist, started playing bass when approached by frontman Patrick Leaver to play in The Phoenix Bridge; the band having gone through a slew of bassists, previously. Chris started playing when he was seventeen years old in various jams and garage acts. His first love was acoustic guitar, being inspired by Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin. On bass, he is no slouch, having learned ninety songs in two weeks to start playing with The Phoenix Bridge, making him not only one of the most versatile bassists, but an incredibly quick learner.
Matt Leaver (drums, backing vocals), as Patrick's younger brother and co-founder of The Phoenix Bridge, was thrust into drums at the young age of fourteen, learning to play with Patrick in early incarnations of the band. Having studied under Sid Bailey and the late, great, Dan Leaver, Matt wasted no time in becoming not only a good drummer, but a great one. He took from influences such as Chad Smith, Dave Grohl, and Stewart Copeland in order to find his sound, which consists of raw power, emotion, and drum parts that only Matt would be able to pull off.
The Phoenix Bridge, with their multi-faceted and talented roster, unique sound, and complex lyrics, make for a rock band with the likes that no one has ever seen before. Having dabbled in genres like Alternative Rock, Grunge, Piano Rock, Progressive, Metal, Orchestral, Acoustic, Pop, and most notably Hard Rock, the best way to describe them is simply "a damn good rock band."
