Catalyst is based out of Valdosta, Georgia. They offer a mixture of music specially tailored to the 90’s generation and up. They perform tracks from the 90’s all the way up to the newest radio hits. They also play plenty of oldies as well, which attracts people of all ages. They strive to put on a live show that sets them apart by using fan feedback and great musicianship. In 2013 alone, Catalyst shared the stage with the national touring act “Trapt,” took home second place in Jacksonville’s Gorilla Music Battle of the Bands, and achieved first place in Valdosta State Universities’ Homecoming Battle of the Bands. Catalyst never leaves a show without gaining fans, and has already built a large fan base in Valdosta through playing at Valdosta State University numerous times. Catalyst is working on their EPK “Something Bigger than Yourself,” which boasts six strong original tracks and is set to release later this year.
Catalyst is comprised of Blake Eason (Guitar/Vocals/Keys), Jordan Watts (Bass/Back Vocals/ Keys), Andrew Harrell (Lead Guitar), and Brandon Straub (Drums). These guys have been playing music together for many years, and they have chemistry, and this chemistry is portrayed in their covers and originals alike.
