Thrash Metal / Hard Rock band founded in 1997, formed by Tony Fontão, drums and lead vocals (ex Cerbero / ex Leeway a Hardcore/Metal band from New York U.S.A), Mauricio "Cliff" Bertoni bass / backing vocals and G. Mello on guitar.
Their 1st demo launched on 97 immediately won a loyal audience not only shows where the band performed, but also radio and TV stations are interested to disclose the work of BF.
Later came the proposals and sponsors (Vision, Cavalera...) which reinforced the band and placed in a professionally prepared for big events. The band made several presentations within and outside Sao Paulo playing in big and famous venues and outdoor parks.
In 2000 was released his 1st debut leading the band name "Brutal Faith," the album quickly conquered the charts on downloads and webradio stations in Brazil and abroad.
In 2012 the Brutal Faith is back with the re-release of her 1st album, completely remastered, and with support from influential names in the market of Brazilian music and international Rock Company Records and Museum Disco, the album Hellmastered edition comes with all leading beyond heavy music and groove, the version of "Jump in the Fire" Metallica, where the band was invited to participate in a tribute to Metallica officially released worldwide by American label Perris Records, BF being the only South American band, participate in the tribute.
The album also takes unreleased tracks, among them the song "Quando", where Tony Fontão splits vocals with mc Bill, the track was recorded in Portuguese and like all music brings a lot of BF footprint combined with SuperGroove of Tony and Cliff, a perfect match to the killer riffs of G. Mello.
The power trio is ready to launch worldwide. At a time when some media insist on the death of the heavy sound, Brutal Faith is proof of the utter ignorance of those who tout this lie and sure enough, certanly BF is establishing itself as one of the great bands of a heavy music world circuit.
