October Aberdeen really took off with the first leg of a National Radio campaign launch that sent Aberdeen to #28 in its first week on the Americana/AAA APD Chart. Climbing to #13 the following week. It ended up at # 19 for the month of October with Artie nestled in just below two of his biggest influences, Gregg Allman and John Mellencamp. That charting got Artie noticed internationally by John Godfrey on The Troubadour Show out of Spain, who selected River of Tears as a Track of the Day for the Week (10/14 - 21). An Appearance on "Connecticut Rocks" with host Bob D'Aprile for an in studio interview and performance only provided more radio presence for Aberdeen.
Paul Rostetter a respected journalist from Switzerland identified Artie as a brilliant example of the American Singer/Songwriter. he was followed by Eric Schuurmans from Rootstime in Belgium who chimed in on Aberdeen with a very detailed review of each of the nine tracks on Aberdeen.
October closed out with Markos Papadatos Digital Journal's Editor-at-Large for music news, who interviewed Artie about his new cd, Americana Music and a surprise question. go to http://artietobia.com/home/blog/powerjounalist-markos-papadatos-interviews-artie for the complete article.
