Chinski / Bio

Chinski born August 4, 1986, raised in junction city, ks with his mother and father until they got a divorce when he was 10 years old. Instead of moving with his father, Chinski stayed in junction city with his mother and younger brother. After his parents separation and seeing his mother struggle as a single parent, he got a job at the age
14 working at burger king. The job lasted for about a year and a half when he was fired for undisclosed reasons. Unable to find work after Chinski turned to the streets as a way to keep providing and helping his mother and younger brother. It wasnt long until he became addicted to his new lifestyle and fast money that Chinski found himself trapped in the street life. In 2007 he was charged with a marijuana poss. case and was ordered to serve 30 days in the county jail before he was put on probation for it. He first took interest in music after seeing his friends form a group "Westwood Clique" and release a mixtape entitled "Westwood Clique Vol.1". Westwood was the neighborhood that he and his friends grew up in, but they refer to it as "The Wood". Chinski was not on the "Westwood Clique Vol.1",but after his release from the county jail he dropped a freestyle to Trey Songz' "Wonder Woman" instrumental which featured another neighborhood friend Watson. Still not really taking rap serious batteling between the streets and rap it wasnt until his childhood friend Mighty Mike (another friend from The Wood but he
refers to him as his lil brother) noticed his talent towards the end of 2008 and forced him to write songs.Together they started working on a mixtape which they called "Certified Salute".Unfortunately as quick as it was started the project was put to an abrupt stop in
2009 when Chinski was charged for taking the police on a high speed chase through junction city, which in turn violated his probation and he was sentenced to prison for 42 months for his probation and fleeing & eluding. He ended up doing 36 months and was released early for good behavior in January of 2012. Not long after his release Chinski immediately picked up right where he left off and went to work in the studio at a rapid pace, by the summer of 2012 Chinski & Mighty Mike released their first mixtape entitled "Certified Salute" and shot a video to their single "Wood Gang Party" which is on YouTube and is currently over
23,000 views. Now working on his first solo project entitled "Polo's & Cargo's" with his first single "Back To The Streets" and is scheduled to shoot the video in December 2012. With no intentions on slowing down Chinski is determined to make it to the top of the rap game with hits for the streets and keeping it grown for the ladies. With his drive and dertermination it wont be long until the world knows who Chinski is as he continues to provide the world with classic hits. Some of his influences in music are 2Pac, Notorius B.I.G., T.I.,UGK, 8Ball & MJG, Yo Gotti, Jay-Z & Outkast.
