Mother Yeti is an experimental rock band from a town called Moscow, an enchanting, strange little home nestled in the pines and rolling farmland of Northern Idaho. Originally from the Boise area, Zack Degler and Bill Tracy made the journey north in search of knowledge, adventure, and music. Thus, Mother Yeti came to be. Since their start in 2012, the Yeti has had quite the ride, gigging throughout the region, experimenting with home recording, seeing some personnel changes, auditions, radio gigs, even providing the music for a number of independent film projects. Most recently the boys have been in Mother Yeti Studios (Zack's would-be living room), writing, recording, learning, and preparing to get back on stage as a two-piece project. Mother Yeti strives to be a unique experience for their listeners, often mixing genres and exploring different emotions. Hoping never to be boxed-in to any one category of music, they will continue to write and release whatever makes the heart of the Yeti content. Our music can be found on Reverbnation, Soundcloud, and soon on iTunes and Spotify.
