I was raised in Tay River New Brunswick, Canada. My parents love for country music greatly influenced my interest in that genre. In my early twenties I learned to play and sing by hanging out with friends, listening and performing country music. I played in several bands for clubs and weekend dances for a few years before discovering that I could actually write songs that entertained people. It was at the point in time I became hooked by "the craft" and took it very seriously along with the “business side” of the industry. I built my own home studio to record my demos, eventually producing a charity fundraising album "Nashwaak Sound 2000". I then produced and recorded my CD "Northern Redneck". The one track off that album "That Guitar and I" placed in the top five of the First NB Song-writing Competition. I have attended several CCMA weeks across Canada as well as song-writing excursions to Nashville, Tennessee. I am still writing and pitching my music wherever and whenever the inspiration and/or opportunity arise.
