Rachele Wildmare's biggest passions are Tango, circus and exploring her instrument - the violin. She performs professionally in violin/circus crossover act Strings on Fire.
Over the years Mare has been involved in production and composition with other artists, including Christopher Truswell (Moodity) and Me-Lee Hay (moZaika). In 2012 she collaborated with Blue Mountains composer/producer Adam Warnock (Tremor Productions). The tracks "Destiny March", "Autumn Leaves" & "Istanbul" were co-written with Adam.
She studied advanced violin and teacher training with acclaimed teacher and author, Lois Shepheard. For over 10 years she performed professionally in classical string ensembles and headed her own teaching studio in Melbourne.
After falling in love with the electric violin, she played in Jazz/Rock/Pop duo “Moodity” (2002 to 2005), original alternative band “Me-Lee’s Mosaic” (2003 to 2005), and electronica / strings duo “moZaika” (2005 to 2007). She was in the original lineup of “The String Angels” (2005 to 2008) and the lead violinist in electric violin show “VAMP” from 2006 to 2010. She currently plays violin combined with circus in Strings on Fire and Liqueur Flambe.
Mare is currently working on an album, "The Garden" to be released late in 2013.
