"Im not the kind of artist that goes out and tries to shove my mix-tape's down your throat outside of every venue. I'm not knocking those people that do, but thats not me. Im out here living my life and I write about what I'm going through cus if i don't I'll go fucking crazy. I don't listen to music because I want to pretend I'm someone else, and my creative process is no different. Im coping with life through music, and thats what you can expect to hear from me as an artist. Im a 80's baby, child of the 90's, and an adult of this time we are living in now. I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I'm no soft ass punk. I don't care what the mainstream machine feeds on. And at the end of the day, and all the way through it, Im'a keep it me. So fuck you. Thats what I stand by and guarantee." - Los Loco
Los Loco is a Hip-Hop Artist rapping out of Saint Paul Minnesota. Born in San Francisco, CA to a father from El Salvador and a mother from Minnesota. Los Loco was around 5 years old they moved to his mother’s hometown in Red Wing, MN. Shortly after, his parents split up and his father moved to Bogotá Columbia, leaving him with his mother and sister in a small town in Minnesota.
Los Loco started writing songs at the age of 12 as a way to vent about his troubles. Never really feeling that he belonged where he was and dealing with discrimination often, he acted out in school and often got into trouble. When he was 13 he moved to Sacramento, CA to live with his father. Eventually, he began to spiral out along a path of heavy drug use and crime, including using methamphetamine and committing robberies to support his habits.
During this time began to show his friends and peers his musical abilities. Convinced by them that he should use his talent to make a better life for himself, rather than continue going down the path he was on, he aimed to focus on a serious career in music. When his father kicked him out of the house, he was sent back to live with his mother. He got off of Methamphetamine but remained to run the streets and get into more trouble. Today, he says he is finally focused and although he has his ups and downs like everyone else he is ready to take his passion for music serious.

"This game is not a game, but a business, and in business you have to be cutthroat and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals. I waisted a lot of years trying to numb my reality instead of change it. But I know now that its taken me this long to be ready for a reason. I have a lot to say. And if you out there grinding everyday, going through shit and need some music to ride to while its all going down then I got you. 100 Proof" - Los Loco
