Simply put Elisium is passion and raw emotion in music form
ELISIUM is a 3-piece band from central (Fredericksburg) Virginia. Their sound is a unique blend of dark rock, and modern metal. Most often compared to Tool and Chevelle. Elisium sounds huge for only being 3 members. Vocalist/Guitarist Nate Compton and brother Corey (“Kirb “) Compton on bass hold down the harmonies with ease, while Nathan Thomas ("Junior") on drums keep them in line. Having shared the stage with mega acts like Chevelle, 10 Years, Nonpoint, Saliva, Saving Abel, Zach Myers of Shinedown, Sevendust, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Jackyl, Straight Line Stitch, and Another Lost Year. Elisium is no stranger to operating at the professional level.
Their first album, "Things They Carried," was released on Baltimore based Hard Volume Records in 2008, and their latest EP "Becoming," came out May (2012) with much anticipation and buzz surrounding it and great reviews from industry people. Elisium is currently being managed/booked by The Lafayette Agency. They are dedicated to the idea that music is more than just entertainment, and that our lives, and the very fabric of the universe are united by rhythm and vibrations and harmony. With song and lyrics and themes ranging from determination, reincarnation, and man's many attempts at describing the universe, they are not afraid to tackle serious themes in powerful ways. In 2013, they left their daily living situations and embarked on a road less traveled in touring with Another Lost Year all around the country for six months. Collecting fan bases and opening the eyes of the world to which Elisium is, a forced to be reckoned with! 2014 is shaping up to be Elisium's best year yet, with their drive, personality, and passion for bringing you an amazing live show you'll demand for them to come back!
