Cakewalk plays fun, danceable music from the 60’s to current hits, including but not limited to Soul, Funk, R&B, Disco, and Pop. Their sincere love of music shows in the way this group entertains the crowd and keeps them dancing all night with song after song of danceable grooves from Jackie Wilson’s 1967 hit “Higher & Higher” to to Bruno Mars' “Treasure”.
The guys in Cakewalk have been working their charms in and around Vancouver since 2008, adding new songs, and finding new ways to get the audience to be a part of the show. With one great song into the next, again and again... it’s hard to stay away from the dance floor.
This 5 piece band has something for everyone with 4 singers doing 4 part harmonies, bass, drums, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, and harmonica.
Their pro sound system and lights can be tailored for any size room. For those locations that require a more subtle approach, there’s an option of electronic drums to keep the volume down to where you need it to be, while still keeping the dynamics and intensity of a full band.

Hello Kirk, Sky, Phil, Darren and Evans,
Thank you so much you for an another awesome evening. You guys are so much FUN!
This party is always the highlight of our year...and the music and food and the weather could not have been better!!!
We received so many lovely notes and photos from our friends - especially the die hards who danced and kept you playing beyond the scheduled time.
We look forward to having the 5 of you play for us again...although next year it might be a different venue (cant say more than that for now though, smile).
All the best
Joanne and Chris
