Evan Dean / Bio

Evan Dean performs as a Solo Act, Duo, Trio and full band. Both his originals and covers run from uptempo blues, rock, and R&B to a mellow singer/songwriter feel. Either way, Evan brings a diversity of material to every gig. He goes from Black Crowes to Stevie Wonder to Ray LaMontagne to Otis Redding to Marvin Gaye to The Rolling Stones. His original song "Roll Away The Stone" is the first single in his upcoming solo EP.

Previous projects include: The Flexible Collective, which produced the CD "The Don Stairs Vigil" in 1998; Ouve Azzy Runk, which produced the CD "Tree" in 2001, along with a number of live releases; The 29th Ward, which produced a self-titled hard-rock release in 2006; and Blake & Dean, an acoustic cover act.

Currently, Ed Kowalski contributes lead guitar and backing vocals in the Duo, Trio and full band. Ed brings over twenty years of professional experience to the group. Kowalski's previous projects include: Framework, DeWilde, Dr. No, Friends of Elvis, and Blake & Dean Trio.
