If Heretic Saints can be described in one word, that word would be “fun”. This quartet based in Denver, Colorado plays original hard rock that draws from their influences, which include Aerosmith, the original Alice Cooper group and Kiss. Not only are those influences reflected in the band’s music, but also in the group’s stage presentation.
The band consists of Jimmie Earls (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sean Quidgeon (Guitar).
“I’m not going to compare us to other bands, but let’s just say we’re pretty active onstage and we do our best to give the audience more than their money’s worth,” says Earls. “We wear our 70s and 80s hearts on our sleeves, we’re not ashamed to play the kind of music we love.”
Heretic Saints isn’t afraid to explore various subject matters including religion, politics and matters of the world.
“It’s fine to address these issues but do it in a way that the crowd is entertained and not put off by an over-bearing message of any kind,” added Earls. “We don’t want to say we’re any particular kind of band because once you put a label on something, people already have an opinion of you before they even hear you. We’re simply a hard rock band first and foremost, there’s a time and place to discuss other things.”
