Glasses mission is clear, to help you see what is around you as well as the path ahead.
Our idea of wearing glasses seems to evolve with us as we age. It begins in our formative years as a means of separation and oddity to our clear-visioned counterparts, and as our minds develop we realize that glasses are simply a means to a certain end, a clear visual of what is ahead of us.
Glasses have long defined Gage Garrett's life, from those formative years of playground bullies to a moniker that has helped define him as a musician. In November 2016, Glasses released his first EP, The Life and Death of Ego, blending a wide variety of styles, including hip-hop, metal, electronic, Americana, and a splash of traditional latin. With this EP, a five-song instrumental journey that is representative of a human being's search for esoteric knowledge, unity, and the death of the human ego, Glasses aims to help light a flame of unity in a world that is steeped in inherent tribalism and separation.
