Bethan originally started Bethan and the Morgans with fellow musician David Ross.
They began by playing small open mic nights and performing covers as a duo. Eventually they started writing music and decided that they needed to add more musicians into the mix. This was the birth of Bethan and the Morgans. The band is made up of Bethan Edwards on lead vocals and guitar, David Ross on backing vocals and lead guitar, Lauren Bennett on double bass and backing vocals, James Rhodes on electric guitar and Dan Foster on drums. Over the past three years they have been steadily building a supportive fan base across the West Midlands, Birmingham, Worcester and North Wales and with the support of many loyal and generous friends have managed to record one of their music videos at the famous Black Country Living Museum. The band are currently working on their debut album which is due for release in the summer of 2015.
Their career so far has seen them performing up and down the country at festivals and venues all across England and Wales, a list of some these can be found at www.facebook.com/bethanandthemorgans, and they have a promising summer of festival performances ahead of them.
