Hailing from New Jersey, GNGR (ginger) embodies the greatness of stadium rock. Built from the same swamp water of Bon Jovi and Springsteen, GNGR adds further dimension to the unique Jersey sound by infusing classic rock and solid blues into the modern rock format.
With inspiration ranging from Led Zeppelin and Lynryd Skynrd to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters, GNGR brings a mix of classic, southern, metal and pop to today’s airwaves. The band’s five members look to re-ignite a sound akin to stadium concerts of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.
GNGR’s original music leads the audience through sounds and stories that are sure to strike a chord with all who listen. The anthem “Take Me Alive” dares the listener to join in the experience of breaking free and finding one’s own self, while the power ballad “Time” recounts how a once-strong relationship changes over time.
GNGR is not just a band but an experience in sound and showmanship. Their road manager, after hearing them for the first time, stated, “They are the definition of what Dave Grohl meant in his Grammy acceptance speech. Great rock and roll still exists – you just need to look a little harder for it. With GNGR it’s in your face and present for us all to hear and feel. It’s our job now to help people find it.”
