Argentine-born Aldo Cocco is a Music Composer, Journalist and Cartoonist. Raised in Spain, he also lived in Mexico and has been based in the United States since 1999.
Having lived and studied in different cultures, he possesses an elaborate musical sensibility and broad knowledge of different musical genres.
Aldo composed the music for the one-man band Dream Dweller, where he played all the instruments, fusing Symphonic Rock, Progressive Electronic and Classical Music. He also produced and arranged the two CDs recorded under the Dream Dweller name: the EP "Music for a Visual Culture" released in 2012 and the Album "The Other Side of Silence" in 2013.
His songs “The Present Is All I Have” and “One” sung by Becky Cutler had radio play in different internet and air radio stations, and he has performed shows in Europe, South America and the USA including playing his original music for movies at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013.
Aldo has composed songs and scores for several independent short films in the United States, including “House with no Mirrors” “The Other Side of Silence” “Super Mom the Mini Movie” and “Unwelcome”.
In the nineties in Argentina, he worked as a Journalist and Cartoonist in different newspapers, and later he founded the cultural-humorous magazine “Humor Sapiens” of which he became Editor and Director.
