Dave is more than just a country artist with a unique sound. He makes the listener feel the diversified local and international influence come together in his compositions. Born in New Jersey and spending his life between Philadelphia and New York City has put an interesting twist on his musical tastes.
“I have always had a strong love of country and folk music coming from a very, very large Irish/Scottish family, but, having grown up during the 80s-90s, I spent a lot of my time as a kid standing in front of my dad’s stereo system rocking on my air-guitar along to bands like AC/DC and Def Leppard. Hard rock is just as big an influence on my music as country and I love finding ways to blend the two together. I’ve always experimented with my own sounds and lyrics but never went much further until after I competed in a national country talent search – I caught the bug. Since then there’s been no doubt in my mind about what I want to do with my life and I have devoted all of my spare time to working on my music. I can’t wait to get it out there for people to hear and, hopefully, to enjoy along with me!”
Since then, he has released his first album, "American Made", with local New Jersey label NNS Records and has been playing in bars and on stages every weekend promoting it. Dave had his biggest year yet in 2014 opening for five major country artists including Eric Paslay, Chase Rice, Craig Campbell, Jerrod Niemann, and LeAnn Rimes. Now, Dave is working on songs for his sophomore album and preparing to make 2015 an even bigger year. Join the mailing list and follow Dave on his journey so you always know what he's up to!
