Literate indie pop music with '80s chime, folksy charm, and post-punk noise. Like that part in Ratatouille when the restaurant critic eats the ratatouille.
Trackjackets hatched in 2012 when indie rock guitarist Matt Mastronardo and punk drummer Shawn League inexplicably replied to singer-songwriter Adrian Morse’s internet ads seeking a female collaborator to write coffee shop pop music. Bassist Steve La Monica, formerly of The Absolute Zeros, joined the band in 2013, adding classic rock punch to the band’s sound.
Combining such influences as '80s college rock, power pop, and alternative rock, the band's debut record Signal/Noise was released in August of 2013.
