With influences ranging from rock to folk to punk to world beats and electronic loops, Bobby Voltage leaves no stone un-turned when it comes to his music and message: "Whatever gets the point across man, whatever it takes," says Voltage. Born in Seattle, he started learning the piano at 5 and got his first guitar at 13: "I traded my brother a Nintendo," Voltage explains. "When everyone else was out playing games and trying to meet girls, all I cared about was guitar. I knew the girls would come later (laughs)." Bobby quickly then learned the bass and drums and any other instrument that struck his fancy or "fit the song". "I'll learn anything if it helps the song develop and grow," says Voltage. As a multi-instrumentalist, Bobby lays all the tracks himself: "I'm looking for people to join me on the journey, but until I do, I'll go it alone." Some shows are electric, some acoustic. Some have special guests, some are just the man and the guitar. But one thing is certain...its all pure voltage. "Its all about connection...leaving your audience full, like they had a good meal."
