Its all about the song….
Scott Coner new single "Turn To Blue" song video is featured on TalentWatch TV Show this week! We'll be on Dish Network, Comcast TV in Nashville, TN & Channel 40/Comcast 397 in Metro-Detroit!
Scott Coner’s EP, Feels Like Friday, produced by Greg Wright, on Sony Red is the long awaited result of his perceptive writing with songs sung alongside music icons Tanya Tucker as well as T. Graham Brown. Coner’s duet with Tucker, “Maybe She Lied,” recently held the number one spot for three weeks on the European Hotdisc Top 40 Country Chart. “Sanibel” is the beautiful collaboration between Coner and Brown about love, the beach, and just getting away.
"Feels Like Friday," written by Bob DiPiero and David Lee Murphy, was Coner’s first single from his new EP. DiPiero holds 15 Number One hits with many artists including Tim McGraw, George Strait, and Vince Gill. Murphy has co-written Number One hits with Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Thompson Square and many others. The fun, upbeat “All About Lovin’” was co-written by Chris Stapleton (co-writer of Luke Bryan’s “Drink a Beer”).
Releasing an album that so beautifully entwines the best of American and country music’s history with his own unique style is certainly a check off of a long to---do list for Coner, but it’s really only the beginning for this spirited writer. Coner notes, “Of course I’ll say that I would love to play the Opry. But more than anything, I’d just like to know that my songs have touched people. I hope that somebody some-where can say that my song was written just for them. That’s all that really matters in the end.”
