The Black Lounge / Bio

The Black Lounge originally started in San Diego, CA by frontman & songwriter, Nate Wieland. It wasn't until after his move to Mansfield, OH, however, that he collaborated & combined talents with the likes of the human metronome, Dr. Bill Hamm (Oolong Gurus), multi-instrumentalist & fellow song writer, Nate "Nasty" Rosich (American Spirit), Jacob Nida (TV Movie), & most recently, Paris Stewart, The Black Lounge was truly born. Forged in old school rock 'n' roll, with a bed of blues & a pillow of soul, their original art in your new favorite style has got hips swaying, heads bobbing, & toes tapping all over the Ohio area. They've been compared to the Animals, Nirvana, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Bob Dylan, the Black Keys, & the White Stripes, just to name a few. If you haven't heard them yet, you're seriously missing out. If you have heard them, you've probably got one of their songs still stuck in your head right now.
