We are The Yum we are a fun loving high-energy four piece indie outfit from Leeds. Our sound has been inspired by the great bands of our times - we just love music, we can't get enough of it!
Lead vocals are laid down by the fabulous Tracy Morton (or Fifi as we prefer to call her) Fifi has brought an unparallelled energy to the band and is the reason that we all feel like fighting our way through the winter fog or summer haze to get to band practice! There is no song out there that she will not tackle! A proper woman!
On Guitar we have the ever enthusiastic Pablo Walsh, (or simply Pau as he's known to his Catalan friends!) he is the energy-ball behind the band, there is no mountain that he wouldn't climb to gig on! Often seen under three guitars and a massive red amp ( of which there are only 60 ever made in the country...ooops sorry ~ the world! ) Paul can and will do anything anytime!
Martyn Nunns is probably the very best bassist in the band! Outwardly cool and laid back, a great lover of music, he is always suggesting fathoms of material for us to have a crack at! He has been in bands forever and divides his spare time between his push bike and his bunny rabbits of which he is almost unhealthily fond of!
The lazy sod that is always sat down on the job is Russ Greenwood ! Great drummer - took up drumming to show off his tattoos and developed a real passion for it! Really gets into the spirit of things ...can never hear a damn word we say to him but he smiles anyway!
The Yum are driven to deliver hightastic vibes, our pleasure is feeling your enjoyment! We are in demand for festivals , corporate events, weddings, private parties and can also supply a complete evening entertainment including a disco to give you a very special night to remember.
