His early influences include, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, America, Traffic, and old blues. Scott played at age 16 in Battle of the Bands Ridgefield CT, (current location of the Ridgefield Playhouse) winning first place after only two weeks of rehearsal with his Redding CT band-mates, most of whom went on to the Berkley School of Music.
In the late 1980's Scott was in a band with the nephew of Felix Cavilier (Young Rascals), and played briefly with the bass player from "Steam" - who has the record hit "Sha, na, na, na, hey, hey". Scott has met legendary Warren Haynes, and discussed music with Devon Allman, Cyril Neville and Mike Zito. Scott even had a quick discussion with Frank Zappa, while in Hartford CT.
In 2012 Scott sat in on stage with Danny Draher (of Chicago Blues Fame), and Griffin Anthony (Miami,NY, CT). Scott is friends with Charlie Karp, Russ Mumma, and many other great artists. Scott continues his playing, songwriting and recording looking to branch out and share his music with other musicians and fans.
