Constant Source of Disappointment (affectionately known as C.S.O.D.) are a 4 piece thrash metal/punk band from Blackpool, UK, influenced by, and likened to, bands such as Exodus, Anthrax, AC/DC, Misfits, Testament, GWAR and Metallica.
C.S.O.D. have taken their music up and down the UK – the Punk4TheHomeless gigs in Boston, Watford and Skegness; Punktoberfest in Dundee; Nice n Sleazy Festival in Morecambe and the local gigs in Preston and Manchester among the many highlights. The band love having a good time, partying the whole night, supporting the other bands, and they always go down a storm wherever they play.
Cuffi Love - Guitar and vocals - riffs, eye-melting solos, navigator and road cook.
6’4”, long hair, massive eyes, loudest, likes to engage in tomfoolery.....
Our Jupes - Bass and vocals - driver, peacekeeper, head like Jupiter, main troublemaker, believes he is the sensible one.....
Ligzig Rightward - Vocals - Film maker, General idiot, the aggressive one, big shovel chin, stupid ginger goatee, likes taking the piss but doesn’t like change
Kaney Babe - Drums - Eye candy, nobody knows which sticks out more - his chest or his chin.
“Since we formed as this line up in 2011, we set ourselves the challenge to write and record a collection of self-penned songs within the next three year; songs that would focus on who we are, what we do and our best friend, Captain Morgan”
(Ligzig Rightguard, Lead vocalist of CSOD)
The result is C.S.O.D.’s ‘666 Trilogy’ – ‘Beginning of the End’ (2012), ‘Going Nowhere’ (2013) and ‘Final Insult’ (2015) –
3 pocket-sized EPs, each with 6 tracks which pack a hammer-like punch.
“I think this 6 track collection shows development, if not of massive envelope pushing proportions, certainly in the strengthening of the foundation on which they build as a unit.”
(Moose Mann, Born to Destruct – Going Nowhere Review)

“Blackpool’s Bastards of Noise, CSOD, are so loud they could wake the sleeping deaf!”
(Kalum Ollerton, Regolith Records)
