The 80s was the decade that gave us "Rocker Chics" like we had never seen before. These ladies could rock just as hard as the boys and wore their leather better! Pat Benatar and Lita Ford are well known for cranking out some great hits in the 80s, but no woman stepped up to the mic with more swagger, attitude and powerful rock anthems than Joan Jett. In 1982, Joan Jett's hit "I Love Rock and Roll" was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks in a row. It is Billboard's #56 song of all time. Jett charted with several other powerful anthem rockers including "Hate Myself for Lovin You", "Do You Wanna Touch" and "Light of Day" as well as being known for putting her own twist on well-known covers like "Crimson and Clover", "Summertime Blues", "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and "Love Hurts". The "Original Riot Grrrl" as some have called Jett is also well-known for her early days in the all girl rock band The Runaways that recorded their own anthem, "Cherry Bomb".
BAD REPUTATION, fronted by Kristi Gray, delivers an 80s "Rocker Chic" show with all the energy and hits. A naturally born rocker herself, Kristi commands attention as the band covers Joan Jett's hits and more as well as sprinkling in some of the 80s hits from Pat Benatar and Lita Ford. Traveling with amazing sound and light production, BAD REPUTATION provides an 80s rock experience like no other!
