Adria Ramos is a singer, songwriter, and violinist. Her music is lyric-driven acoustic with an edge. She has learned that every journey makes more sense with its own soundtrack. Her raw lyrics float over textured instrumentation and paint a picture of love, confession, and honesty.
Adria was born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where she first picked up a violin almost 30 years ago. She graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Zoology and a focus on Astronomy. Go figure.
Adria currently lives in Neenah, Wisconsin with her husband, 2 teen/tween sons, 5 chickens, 3 cats, 3 mortgages, 2 sisters, 1 small business, 5 (maybe 6) friends, 1 big lake, and too much snow.
Adria records and performs across Wisconsin and the near Midwest as a solo musician as well as with her band, Jones. Her original music has been showcased on WPR's Simply Folk, Appleton's Mile of Music, Big Top Chautauqua, Holiday Music Motel Love On Holiday, 91.1 The Avenue, the Wisconsin Singer Songwriter Competition, WAPL 105.7 Home Brewed, and The Great Unknown Radio.
She has appeared as a guest violinist with many artists, including Cory Chisel, Nikki Lane, Sly Joe and the Smooth Operators, Traveling Suitcase, Sam Luna, and Sam Winch.
