Franklin's Basement is a trio from the Des Moines area with a plethora of original material that ranges from acoustic-based Folk to over-driven Hard Rock. Familiar chord progressions and subject matter ranging from conspiracies to heartbreak aims to resonate with any type of music lover.

After recently recording the single "Little Old Me" with the local producer Matt Sepanic(Slipknot, Murderdolls, Envy Corps, etc.), the band represented Iowa by having a music video filmed for a forthcoming nationwide documentary titled "If you don't love it, change it", which is a journey to meet and make music videos for 50 bands over 5 months. The music video and full feature documentary will tentatively be finished and released early to mid 2015.
Winners of the Des Moines leg of the Waka Winter Classic 2015, the trio were fortunate enough to play for the thousands of fans at the Wakarusa Music Festival 2015 down in Arkansas.
