Frank Junior Guertin is a well-seasoned guitar player/songwriter from Merrick Long Island NY.
A self taught guitarist, however, Frank was instructed and befriended by a well-known and respected guitar player in the national music industry "Al Pitrelli", (formerly of Alice Cooper and Megadeth.)
Through the years, Frank Junior's musical accomplishments vary from performing numerous live shows, touring various cities, collaborating and appearing on multiple independent artists recordings including metal band Silent-Fate. However, some of Frank Juniors most notable and memorable guitar work comes from his years of being the original lead guitarist of the Long Island rock band “Craving Strange” (2008-2010). Their first independent full length CD release in 2009 entitled "Savior Self" has some of Frank Juniors strongest guitar playing with blistering solos and solid catchy hooks.
In 2014 the online world got a taste of Junior’s newest project that features him as a solo artist. Releasing his first hard hitting single called "This Mess" on digital markets like iTunes and Spotify, “This Mess” showcases his solid and raw guitar style with heavy riffs and supercharged leads. "This Mess" also spotlights some of his musician friends from the Long Island music scene including Artie Aldarondo on vocals, Anthony Paganini on bass guitar and Danny Lamagna on drums.
As of today, Frank Junior Guertin is releasing his long awaited solo EP titled "Adjusting The View." The 7 song EP will be digitally released on 5/24/2016 and it features multiple musicians of the Long Island music scene! In January of 2016, Frank officially returned home as the lead guitarist of a Long Island rock band "CRAVING STRANGE!" They are in the recording studio recording their 4th release that will be available in July of 2016!
