Smashbox Symphony features well known Singer/Songwriter John West from Philadelphia (Lead Vocals) . The project developed in the studio where all were dedicated to bringing a fresh twist of Modern/Retro Rock music to today’s music scene. With their classic sense of melody and vocal color along with their theatrical approach to songwriting, reminiscent of such classic acts as Queen ,Yes, The Tubes and some modern favorites like The Killers, and Panic at the Disco but yet, unique in their own rite....
Hailing from the East Coast, Philadelphia, Baltimore, WashingtonDC areas, Smashbox Symphony has a cast of characters in their lineup known both regionally and nationally. Three members of the band are from Capitol Recording Artists group "Facedancer". Facedancer was signed to Capitol Records in the early 80’s and had charted albums both in the US and the UK. The lineup on "One" consists of Jeff Adams (Guitar, Guitar Synth, Vocals), David Utter (Guitar , Vocals) and Billy Trainor (Drums, Percussion, Keyboards) joining them are Steve Carodiskey from the Drivin' Livid, and the Jamie LaRitz Band (Bass, Vocals) , John Suchy (Keyboards from Hectic Red , with additional instrumental mandolin , keyboards from co producer Victor Giordano

Though the bands roots were always in live performance, Smashbox Symphony "One "came together primarily as old friends getting together to record a concept album and show project. . So, the picture was painted, following through with that concept...
*****Currently there are plans for a follow-up Smashbox album.
*To date all the members of Smashbox Symphony are involved in other live and recording projects , but they will reunite for some live events at some point in the future!!!
