As an anointed woman of passion, talent, and purpose, Daphney Hilton is here to inspire and encourage the world through gospel music. The Miami, Florida native has made Atlanta her hub to expand as a minister and an artist. Being the daughter of parents who are deeply rooted in the church and are musically talented, she has had the privilege of being surrounded by music and ministry all of her young life. Daphney’s Debut CD “GraceChyld” reflects the epitome of this very upbringing. She gives honor to her parents as being the contributing factors in the making of Daphney Hilton, the Artist.
For many years Daphney’s voice has been capturing and uplifting souls throughout the United States and internationally. She started singing professionally at the age of 13 with Dwain Ingram and the Ingram Gospel Singers of Miami, Florida. This was the starting point of her destiny being manifested in the earth. Among the Atlanta Gospel Artist hub, Daphney has proudly sang with Dirk Chaney and the Chosen Aggregation, Derrick Starks and Friends, and David Walker and High Praise. All have recorded professionally during their time. She has shared the stage with some of gospel greats, such as, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Yolanda Adams, Darryl Coley, Shirley Ceasar, James Cleveland, and many more. Daphney has appeared on several TV broadcast shows, sharing her gift with the world. She has also served in the capacity of worship leader, director of children's, youth, and young adult choirs, and associate minister. Daphney is a daughter of the Berean Christian Church of Stone Mountain, GA, where Senior Pastor Kerwin B. Lee presides.
The embroidering of this quote on her heart has become the driving force behind her daily walk: “your gift will take you there, but your character will keep there.” Daphney believes that her faithfulness in her gifts may have earned her the accolades, but the spirit that shines from within will last for an eternity. Daphney is becoming one of the most sought after minstrel of this time to serve God’s people.
