Well it's no secret I've been around for a minute or two and I've been lucky enough to play with some of the biggest music stars from here in the U.S. and England. When I was young, just 22, I recorded and toured with The ERIC BURDON BAND, and then in the early 80's with Peter Noone (Herman of the Hermits) who had a band called THE TREMBLERS. Later on I recorded with Jimmie Wood and the IMMORTALS whose songs were featured on the Soundtrack from the Tom Hultz / Susan Dey movie ECHO PARK.
Around that same time I did some recording with ex BLUE CHEER guitarist Leigh Stephens, on a project for Ken Scott, (engineer/producer for The Beatles, Supertramp, and Missing Persons). See the video here and on youtube. After that I did a stint as bassist for Akron Ohio's own RUBBER CITY REBELS and recorded with an offshoot of that band called THE FIRETONES.
I felt I needed a change so I moved from Hollywood to Las Vegas and was fortunate again to be asked to play for FABIAN's " Good Time Rock and Roll Revue". As a result I was the bass player on a live cd by LITTLE ANTHONY and the IMPERIALS that was released from those performances.
At the present time I am fulfilling a life long dream, with the help of my better half and music partner, Linda C. of building a recording studio in our home and we are now in the preliminary production stages of recording an album of our own original material to be released soon. So stay tuned for some "ADULT" contemporary music from or band -HARDCORESECTX- temporarily titled (Total Modal.)
After all is said and done, to quote one of my favorites Mr. Joe Walsh, I guess I could say "Life's been good to me so far"…………Peace out. R.R.
