Mike Price, Harmonica, Lead and backup vocals, First sang publicly at The First Baptist Church in Stoutland Missouri at the age of 5. However he started playing in bands in the early 60's The Chessmen and The Upstairs Underground in Kansas. In 1969 Michael graduated from Central High in Springfield, Mo. & following the lead of his friend Becky Hobbs Mike relocated to Louisiana where he Jammed with everyone he could including a stint as vocalist and harmonica player with Barry Edgar and The Basement Wall. Later In the 70's Price returned to Springfield, Mo. where he and his Brother Tiger, started THE SILVER EAGLE BAND they played throughout Mo., Ok., and California until in the early 80’s when Mike went solo and cut an album in Nashville He placed third in the Wrangler Showdown, but he missed being part of a band, and formed OZZIE AND THE ACES a classic rock and roll review, that played the Club Circuit In and around Springfield for 12 years. Mike has many years in the music business, And has promoted produced & shared the stage with a host of acts including, John Fred’s Playboys, Steppenwolf, Iron Butterfly, Big Brother, Barry Edgar and The Basement Wall, The Count Rocking Sydney, Swampfox, Pot Liquor, Cookie & The Cupcakes, ZZ Top, Muddy Waters, Hank Thompson, Dr Hook, Flash Cadillac, Roadhouse Band, Frampton's Dream, Kris Kristofferson, Sweathog, Eddie Eugene, Lionel Hampton, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Roy Buchanan, Nienhaus Rogers & Crawford, Pavlov's Dog and a host of others. After all these years Mike is still rockin’ with his friends in The Highway 13 Band 11 years and going strong.
