After advertising for a female vocalist on a local muso web (Big Ginger Gits) . Lara, applied and was given the job by Dogg and Stevie. The first album, Sunny Side Down, is now complete.
All of the tracks on the album were written, recorded and produced by Dogg, Lara and Stevie, all to an Americana, Country Rock theme. Extra Chicken Pickin' and slide guitars were added by Jimmy Smith who will also tour with the band. Extra keyboard parts were added by John Fez Ferry and Dave Atkinson. A huge thank you to these three musicians.
The bands hopes are to tour the USA, especially the hot parts, after countless years of UK rain, fog, snow and cold.
Lara is originally from the US being born in Los Angeles and raised in Los Alamos. She began singing in bands in California at the age of 17 and soon, after meeting and marrying an Englishman, moved to England
Dogg recorded his first album as the lead guitarist with Cirkus on the RCB label in 1975. This album is very collectable now
Stevie is a qualified Pro Tools engineer and is better known in his native North East as a harmonica player rather than a bass guitarist, although there's no harp on the first album, just you wait for the second
