Danah was born and raised in Long Island New York. From an early age she can remember how she always wanted to sing and perform. As young as 2 1/2 years old her mother caught her singing into an hair brush to Donna Summer.
Her parents divorced when she was only 1 years old. Danah loved hanging out at her Dad's house. Her father always had sounds of Brazil playing in the back yard by the pool. She loved dancing to the exotic music. Her brother, also bitten by the music bug formed a band early on as well called Positive Logic.
Danah landed the lead in the school play "The Rich Lady" in just 2nd grade. She was the star in her dance classes such as ballet, jazz and tap as a very young girl. At around10 years old she started up with cheer leading and eventually tried out and made Massapequa High School Kick-line, The Cheifetts. Danah also pursued modeling and acting as a teen and is still actively working to this day.
Aside from knowing she loved to sing and dance in her room as a child and teenager, it wasn't until she started doing karaoke with friends at age 17 did Danah know that she was actually good at it. Shortly after her Karaoke days she went on a trip with her cousin Tara to the Bahamas. That was the first time she had ever heard Danah sing. The next night after Danah sang along side the piano player Tara and other friends made on that trip strongly suggested that Danah get serious about it. It was then that Danah decided to pursue a career in entertainment as a singer. Soon after that she awoke from a dream with lyrics in her head. Danah would become a songwriter as well.
