Drew Fridge is a new age producer, musician ,songwriter, and composer that’s said to be a soulful, hybrid blend of hip-hop, jazz and R&B, that’s smooth yet often emitted in various styles ranging from indie pop to Neo-Soul. Born and raised on the Chicago South Side, the journey for Drew’s career began at the tender age of 7. Like many, Drew’s involvement began in the church singing and playing keys and drums. His mother, a local gospel recording artist, instilled a love and passion for music like no other. Inevitably, Drew went on to produce and write music for himself as well as many local artists, and win Nationally Acclaimed awards from organizations such as the NAACP for his compositions made as a high school contestant in the highly esteemed ACT-SO program. Upon attending Columbia College, Drew started the band Khameelion where he played main keys and opened for artists such as Letoya Luckett, Tweet, Raheem DeVaughn, Brandy and more. Soon after releasing his debut Single “#ONNAT”, Drew decided to pursue his own artistry and production. His music video on YouTube shot and directed by his brother Alex Fridge of “It’s a Fridge Thing Productions” has accumulated over 16,000 views in a two-month span and continues to gain popularity. As a new face thats been seen by many behind the scenes, Drew strives to "proliferate positivity through sound".
