ZAHLER is a classic rock/ progressive rock band formed in Queens in 2010. Some of the bands that have influenced them are The Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Grateful Dead, Rush, The Beatles, and Phish.
- The band features Adam November, the lead guitarist, whose influences include Steve Howe of the band Yes, and usually surprises the audience when he breaks out the harmonica in true Neil Young fashion. Adam has previously played with the bands Cheap Blue Yonder, and Chinchilla.
- Daniel Nussbaum is one of the three original founders of the band, as well as the guitarist, vocalist, lyricist, and manager of the band. Daniel's inspiration comes from Jerry Garcia, lead guitarist and vocalist for The Grateful Dead, and Trey Anastacio, lead guitarist and vocalist for the band Phish, and has incorporated his love of the blues into his guitar playing style. Daniel also owns the record label, Half Green Records, which manages Zahler, as well as Chinchilla and many other artists.
- Jon Rosenbloom, the band's drummer and also a key founder of the band, is known for his fast and abstract drum solos. His incorporation of the progressive sound of Neil Peart of Rush, hard rock style of John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, and the fast, dexterous solos of Keith Moon of The Who, make him a truly unique drummer.
- Eitan Reiffman serves as the band's bassist, rhythm guitarist, vocalist, lyricist, and keyboard player. Eitan plays with more of a classic bass style, akin to the innovative playing style of Paul Mccartney of the Beatles, the inspiring bass licks of Phil Lesh of The Grateful Dead, and captivating and original bass playing of John Entwistle of The Who. Eitan's artistic creativity is apparent in his drawings depicting the band, and his unique and inspirational lyrics.
