NWOTM merry fellows from Kiev (Ukraine) have already conquered more than one area in their country. Band has original fun style of performance with using the best of old school thrash metal, includes the roots of punk, and thereby producing their own music style.
Band was formed in 2009, by guitarist Alexander Polishko. One version says that their name was taken after a plane name, Martin B-26 which is also called "Marauder".
The first concert of the band was held on 5th September 2009. A song “Machinist” was first performed at that show.
Later, Alexander Polishko has taken his material and the band name, left a band and started to search for the musicians.
It was finished in the summer of 2011.
September 7, 2011 in Kiev club "Prime", Marauder gives a concert in a new membership:
Ruslan Babayev - Vox & Guitar
Alexander Polishko - Guitar
Vladyslav Pospolitak - Drums
Ivan Popov – Bass
Actively performing in September 2011, we realized that we need a record. But we were constantly plagued with failures, lack of money, and have had to postpone and move it. In March of 2012 we had a good chance, so we went to record our first live demos that are included in our debut EP now.
Also song Electra (Cryoshock) is present on a disc. It was recorded at one of our gigs in Kiev.
Band is often credited with relation to the Straight Edge lifestyle (as band members lead a healthy lifestyle), but all the members deny the relation to the movement.
Marauder is actively performing and developing band at the moment.
Machinist (EP), 2012
Also remember that live gig is much more cooler!
