The Lowhills / Bio

Joseph Marlow and Matt Cahill grew up in Nashville and have been playing together since they were 13 years old. Joe plays every string instrument and helped develop his ear tuning pianos. Matt plays bass, drums, banjo, and the harmonica. They met the beautiful Lauren Bevins in 2010 and knew they had to steal the sultry singer from her then band. Lauren plays the mandolin and the guitar.

The group covers artists such as Marvin Gaye, Bobby McFerrin, George Jones and Tammy Wynette. They take classic country and energize it in an electric format laden with rich vocal harmonies. The original songwriting is where they really prove themselves as great upcoming artists. . Their music is a blend of southern r&b, traditional country and jazzy blues.
