45 on High was the brainchild of Jacob Neilson. After recruiting JJ Santillan on drums and Ben Schwind on bass, the group began to play around the Quad Cities under the name Heroes for Hire. The final piece was Riley Hopkins on rhythm guitar and vocals. Their different musical backgrounds bring a unique sound to the music. Jacob's blues influence, Ben's Flea inspired bass playing, JJ's progressive metalish playing style, and Riley's punk energy create the musical cocktail that is 45 on High.
