The Pilgrims started in 2010 in a dirty kitchen in a reconditioned office-space-apartment in Windsor, Vermont. Three 20-something roommates, spent their days making minimum wage and their nights burning tubes and building calluses deferring adulthood.
Six years on the job and The Pilgrims continue the crusade of raw rock n roll riffs, citing the sources of 80s and 90s indie & punk, and the country rock of the 1970s. The drums are driving, the bass is fuzzy, melodies abound; the guitars are loud. Through lineup changes and practice space evictions, the band has held its center. 2016 finds the band as a five piece with a brand new six song EP, Shred Savage.
"You’ve got to give it up for a band like The Pilgrims who wield that “just rolled outta bed nonchalance, but still have our shit way more together than all you strivers ever will” penchant as if they had the chops to stake their hides on it." - Willfully Obscure Blog
