The Nerve / Bio

The Nerve helms from the suburbs of Philadelphia. Formed in 2000 by Scot Silver on electric and acoustic guitars/vocals and Christine Dragon on vocals/percussion as Myriad, a eponymous CD was released in 2002. They cultivated into The Nerve in 2006 with the added help of Eric Schreiber on bass, Dave Coccio on drums and Jim Briggs on acoustic guitar, the group has taken on a new edge and sonic spectrum. You can expect a fusion of melodic rock, progressive funk and folk.

If you listen to 93.7 WSTW's "Hometown Heroes" show, you may have heard Nymphonic, Electric Muse or Victim from The Nerve. If you liked what you heard, email host Mark Rogers and let him know you want to hear more!
Online radio show "Fame Games" currently has 'Nymphonic' in regular rotation.

Quickstar Productions latest CD "Chill Out" features 'Full Moon' with many other wonderful artists.

Our new album, "Shades of Silver", has been released in 2012. It is a potpourri of 3 projects - The Nerve, Silver3 and Scot Silver. 12 slammin' tracks all told. 2013 promises to offer a full length The Nerve Cd. Putting the final touches on this soon-to-be gem.
