In April 2011 vocalist Colby botched on facebook that he wanted his lyrics to be used rather than sitting stale and quick as a flash Jack was there to reply 'I play guitar man' so the two met but as we all know 2 does not make a band. So after very little searching they met with long time mate Luke to discuss enlisting his services which proved to be fruitful as he knew that another long time friend Jaz was a drummer a fact unbeknownst to the 2, and so it began but what is metal without bass? So after sometime of looking it seemed that a bassist could not be found until Colby's own wife Elise piped up 'why dont I pick up a bass?' And with a nod of approval existential deception was born. Blending a broad range of influences from prog, death, industrial and all other manner of weird and wonderful music the band has created a sound that resembles the offspring of a 3way between Trent Reznor, Devin Townsend and Dez Fafara thats sure to get your head banging and your brain working double time. So listen in, enjoy and prepare to be deceived
