Born from a family of musicians and artiest raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL (Broward County) Vantoine Lael took an early liking to the drums, as a kid growing up in church. His uncle, a well-known musician, encouraged his nephew's gift and immediately began to pour into him by cultivating his gift. Victor Lawton frequently took young Vantoine to late night rehearsals, studio sessions, and choir rehearsals. Vantoine would use these opportunities as time to learn and study many of the musicians he admired, and take on uncle’s mantle. His diverse, innovative musical talents can be found in a wide variety of music to include gospel, R&B, and contemporary jazz just to name a few. Vantoine continues to grow professionally and spiritually. He attributes all of his success to the unwavering support of his family and his Christian rearing. He says, "Without God, his life would be nothing, and he is ever thankful for his gift of musicianship."
