When Soulidium released their first album, "Children of Chaos", it started a fire that raged almost overnight, burning up all of the rules and limitations an unsigned, independent band came to expect. Without a major budget, Soulidium penetrated active rock radio with their song "The Light" and was hailed by rock institutions like Rolling Stone as being "One the best buys any rock fan can make. Period.".
Red Bull, in an article about rising bands to watch, said "Rob Zombie, Marylin Manson, and Nine Inch Nails always had powerful music accompanied by unforgettable theatrical shows. Nowadays, that's a lost art, but not to worry.. Soulidium has arrived to fill that void." The band's bold slogan, "Join the Addiction", became a testament to Soulidium's impact as their cult-like appeal led fans everywhere to tattoo the band's logo on their flesh and follow them from show to show.
Soulidium, with it's vampiric style and charisma, went on to play and tour with bands like Sevendust, Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, Alter Bridge, Puddle of Mudd, Hellyeah, Black Light Burns, Apocalyptica, Taproot, and others. Soulidium was featured in the Saw IV Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with artists like Emily Autumn, Avenged Sevenfold, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sixx A.M., Drowning Pool, Saosin, Submersed, Nitzer-Ebb, & Ministry with their stellar anger anthem "Trapped", described by Metal Edge Magazine as the "Perfect execution".
After a long hiatus, Soulidium proudly returns with "Awaken" featuring guest vocals by Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust, (Fly to the Sun), an amazing remake of Pink Floyd's "Run Like Hell", and 10 more tracks that will undoubtedly assimilate themselves into the soundtrack of your life.
