The gods of Sweat, Bass, and Outer Space have heard your pleas and responded with Left of Logic. Imagine a filthy rutting bass line, as if Bootsy Collins were auditioning for the lead role in Alien 3. A spastic keyboard riff carves through the reverberations like a lightsaber through a Jacuzzi full of funky, funky butter. A cymbal crash rolls into a drum fill, the beat comes in, and everything stops making sense.
Lights, harmonies, screaming, and oxygen deprivation-
It’s like stumbling into Darth Vader’s private carnival. To lay it out for you, Morgan Freeman’s got a lot to learn about the wormhole. Once Left of Logic shows you the other side, you come back with “Spacetic Fever”.
Left of Logic formed in January 2012 at an undisclosed location in Philadelphia. They’re a three-piece consisting of Austen Royce Goodman, an extra-dimensional bass warlock who sings lead; Daniel Townsend, who provides keyboards, vocals, and unabashed mad science; and Timothy Knowlton, some form of metronome-android prototype who has learned how to love.
Left of Logic is presently touring in and around the Philadelphia area. You can find their shows on their website, or by following the tears in the fabric of space-time.
