Ghost Of Mississippi formed in December of 2010, when Martin Hemenway and Austin Belanger (former guitarist) started writing some southern guitar riffs at a friend\\\'s home studio. They enlisted JD Wheeler, a friend of Martin\\\'s and a long time drummer from many different bands around the United States. They then found vocalist, Kyle Milburn from a local metal band in their scene. They went through the long writing process and started playing shows in March of 2011. From there the band has grown into a heavy, hardcore influenced, rock and roll band with a hint of their Southern roots. The band has been through many bass players in the time, but has finally settled on Kyle Henson, a local guitarist from hardcore roots. The band has played some awesome shows and some real sh*t shows, but they plan on continuing their quest to play for audiences near and far. Ghost Of Mississippi sites a lot of creative influences including Norma Jean, Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, Underoath, Every Time I Die, and The Chariot.
